Blurb from the book:
A cold heart…
For centuries Lucian has battled on two fronts. Defeating the Malachites, all that stand between him and becoming King of the vampires and the demon within himself, battling desperately for release. His attention stretched thin he has no time for women but Sara, his fiery bride won’t be denied.
A burning touch…
With a deadly curse hanging over her head, Sara knows her time is short. Placing her life in Lucian's hands is a risk she knows she must take and one her innocent heart gladly makes for Lucian makes her body burn and her soul fly.
Never had hot and cold reacted so combustively.
Sara’s presence pushes Lucian to the brink of madness, her nearness making him crazed with the need for her blood. Though his fangs ache with longing, to bite her could condemn them both but the attraction between them is too strong to be denied. As they race headlong towards a fiery conclusion will they emerge unscathed to will the flames of desire consume them both?
~~~~~
Seared by Desire is a deadly combination of the age old Vampire with a twist of fire- an elemental. A fire elemental named Sara. She comes from a village of other fire elementals constantly striving for more power at any cost. However, Sara is shunned as an outcast within the walls to which she is forced to remain until something erupts within her changing her forever. Her people quickly change their view of her seeing her now as a weapon even at the greatest cost, but Sara just wants to live.
Lucian, Lord of the vampires, seeks peace for his people in the midst of war while he fights to regain his internal control when a fiery redhead tempts him like none other.
I love Lucian! He’s a well written character. He’s a strong but good man, a fierce warrior, a great leader, and an excellent lover with a bit of a bite... if you know what I mean *wink wink*. Love scenes with a vampire... STEAMY!  Sara is an excellent character as well. She is strong even when she is weak and the two of them make an incredible team! I love the way her powers are written; something I would love to see on a big screen.
This story is a great read, I didn’t want to put it down. It’s got a great cast of characters and some I could see hopefully making more appearances in future additions. I’m putting this author on my watch list.
4/5 Fangs from me!
